Hurricane Ida Updates

Service Related Update as of  August 28, 2021

Due to the projected path and intensity of Hurricane Ida our office will be closed on Monday, August 30th. We are asking residents to NOT place carts out for collection Sunday night for your normal scheduled Monday routes. Trucks plan to operate routes once the roadways are deemed passable, so please place your carts out curbside as soon as it is safe to do so. As of now we anticipate service days will be delayed by one-day.***(For example, Monday routes will be serviced on Tuesday, Tuesday routes on Wednesday, Wednesday routes on Thursday, and Thursday routes on Friday. However, this is subject to change depending on the impact of the storm) For our latest updates please monitor our Facebook page or our website. Also, as you make your preparations please remember to secure your trash cans along with other items that may become hazardous in strong winds. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this matter. Our prayers for safety are with all as we anticipate landfall.

Service Related Update as of August 31, 2021

Due to the recent severe weather in our area trucks will not be operating today, many of the roadways are impassable with trees and low hanging wire. We will continue communicating with local officials to evaluate the road conditions, once it’s safe to operate our trucks we will do so. We are hoping for operations to resume Wednesday morning if conditions allow. If you haven’t already placed your cart curbside please do so, once trucks start operating we will be servicing all routes until they are completed. No specific time or service day so please leave your carts out curbside until it is serviced, currently we are experiencing a 2-day delay. Our office is working diligently to get back open to normal operating order, so please bear with us. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will communicate once operations resume.
